Anže Grmek

Every season brings an opportunity to discover a new talent, and Anže Grmek arrives at Plymouth with plenty of promise.

Highly regarded within Slovenian and European speedway circles, Anže has already gained valuable experience racing in Poland, representing Slovenia internationally and competing in the SGP2 World Under-21 Championship series. Now he faces a fresh challenge as he takes on British Speedway for the first time.

Like many overseas riders before him, adapting to new circuits, different racing styles and unfamiliar opposition is all part of the journey. What has already impressed those around the club is his enthusiasm to learn and his determination to improve with every meeting.

Supporters have already seen encouraging signs of his ability, and as his understanding of British tracks continues to grow, there is every reason to believe his best performances are still to come.
