Plymouth set for British Under-19 Final as draw confirms a strong field

The Coliseum is set for another important evening on Saturday when Plymouth hosts the British Under-19 Final, kindly sponsored by the Ivan Mauger Gallery, a meeting that brings together a strong and varied field for one of the major dates in the youth calendar.

The draw has now been made, and it gives supporters a clear picture of the riders lining up for the title. Reigning British Under-19 Champion Luke Harrison has been drawn at No.9, with fellow Premiership riders William Cairns, Jody Scott and Cooper Rushen occupying the key positions of 4, 8 and 15 respectively.

Rushen arrives with a chance to add another British title to his name after winning the Under-21 crown this season, while Stene Pijper is also in the field after winning the 500cc British Youth Championship at Glasgow on Sunday. He too now has the opportunity to make it a second British Championship in 2026.

There is also a notable moment in the line-up for Anika Loftus, who becomes the first female rider to take part in a major British Final. That alone gives the meeting an added layer of significance, underlining the progress being made through the junior ranks.

For Plymouth, hosting the final means another important occasion at the Coliseum and a chance to welcome a national championship event to the city. The draw has set the stage; now attention turns to the racing itself and to which rider can handle the pressure when the tapes rise.
