The Plymouth Gladiators face a demanding and pivotal week of racing, with three fixtures in four days that could shape their progress in two major competitions.
The action begins on Wednesday as the Gladiators travel to Oxford Stadium for the second leg of their BSN Series tie. Plymouth take a strong 57–32 advantage into the meeting following an impressive first-leg performance, but with qualification not yet guaranteed, the team knows there is still work to be done. A positive result on the night would strengthen their position as they look to give themselves the best possible chance of progressing, with the final outcome also influenced by results elsewhere.

Focus then quickly shifts to knockout action as the Gladiators make the long journey north to Scotland on Friday to face the Glasgow Tigers in the first leg of their MAXiCab Knockout Cup clash. Starting away from home presents a tough test, but Plymouth will be aiming to put themselves in a solid position ahead of the return.
There is no rest for the team, as they return to the Plymouth Colosseum on Saturday for the second leg against the Tigers. With the tie to be decided over two meetings, home advantage could prove decisive, and the Gladiators will be looking to build on their Friday performance in front of their supporters.
A club spokesperson said: “It’s a big week for us with a lot on the line. We’re in a good position in the BSN Series, but we know it’s not done yet and we need to approach it the right way. Then it’s straight into a tough two-legged tie with Glasgow, so it’s about staying focused and putting together consistent performances across all three meetings.”

Supporters are encouraged to get behind the Gladiators throughout the week, particularly for Saturday’s home fixture, as the team looks to build momentum and make the most of a crucial run of meetings.
Gates open at 5pm on Saturday 25th April as we welcome the Glasgow Tigers to the Coliseum. Pay on gate is still accepted with cash or card options or alternatively you can buy tickets online here
